WELCOME TO ROOM 11!

We have had a busy start to our learning in Room 11. We have been busy with reading, writing, maths, art, swimming and Inquiry learning. We have had fun getting to know people in our class and in our syndicate.

On a Friday we have Discovery Time. This is where we focus on our Key Competencies while being creative, using our imagination, working well in groups and talking about our learning. Last week we focussed on Managing Self - this means doing the right thing, having a can-do attitude and understanding yourself as a learner.

After Discovery time we have time for sharing and reflecting on our learning.

We have been creating our Class Treaty. We talked about some of the rights we have at school...
We have a right to learn.
We have a right to be safe.
We have a right to play and have fun.
We have a right to be loved.
In groups we discussed what our responsibilities are to make sure everyone enjoys these rights...

We will share our Class Treaty when it is finished!

On Thursday Pohutukawa Syndicate had a fun afternoon playing games and spending time with our friends!
